Sales and Design

Design Professionals provide leading-edge services to homebuilder and retail customers by offering their kitchen design expertise and knowledge of design technology. Many of our Design Professionals have received post-secondary education at accredited design schools, while others have built their skills from the ground up.

Design Professionals are the first point of contact for customers. They are dedicated to visualizing customers’ dreams while delivering solutions that can only be described as the “Superior Experience.”

Key Knowledge Requirements – customer orientation, relationship management, creative design, spatial planning, building codes and mechanical systems, prospecting, account management, customer centric selling, industry trends.

Central Support

If you like to come up with solutions, then this area will interest you. The Central Support team is made up of Customer Support, Custom Drafting, and Service. Central Support acts as our central resource for processing inquiries from employees and customers.

The goal of Central Support staff is to provide world-class service to all stakeholders. Central Support personnel are great on the phone, they know our business inside and out, and they are dedicated to providing the right solution the first time.

Whether through their commitment to job completion, a visit to the customer’s home, or responding to schedule changes, this team is dedicated to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Key Knowledge Requirements – customer orientation, operational excellence, relationship management, drafting, project management.

Installation

Do you understand the intricacies of cabinet installation? Do you pay close attention to detail, and want to learn everything there is to know about the products you work with? If hands-on work with direct customer contact is where you want to be, you may find your fit with our Installation Team.

The installation process involves collaboration between service personnel and a dedicated team of installation professionals. Our Installers possess a vast knowledge of our products are committed to ensuring customers’ needs are met during the installation process.

Installers have a wide range of backgrounds, including finishing carpentry, Manufacturing Operations, cabinetmaking, and other industries. 

Key Knowledge Requirements – customer orientation, safe work practices, project management, construction/carpentry expertise, relationship management, building codes and mechanical systems, jobsite management.

Manufacturing Operations

Do you like efficiency and processes? Do you prefer working with teams? Do you like to be on the lookout for new trends and product offerings? Manufacturing Operations might be your area.

Manufacturing runs smoothly due to the dedication of many people who use the latest in technology and hands-on dexterity. Plant operations are coordinated into Fabrication, Finishing, Final Assembly and Shipping Teams. Manufacturing is where the Designer’s vision comes to life. Our teams are constantly challenged to find more efficient processes and the next high-impact product offering to meet our changing business dynamics.

We have several other departments to make sure the right things happen at the right time, including Maintenance, Materials Management, Plant Support Systems, Production Scheduling and Quality & Safety. These teams ensure we deliver world-class customer value daily through coordinated planning, advanced supply agreements and software solutions.

Information Technology

Are you technologically inclined? Would rather spend your time on a computer than in a workshop? Are you curious about how systems work, and do you like to come up with solutions for problems? Your best fit will likely be with our IT team.

We embrace technology and see it as the building block of our future. The IT group is responsible for maintaining Superior’s IT infrastructure. From phone systems to desktop applications, and from systems analysis to new business solutions, our IT team makes sure everything runs smoothly.

The highly skilled professionals on the IT team have backgrounds in business analysis and best service practices. Whether your background is in hardware or software, networks or systems, there might be a place for you in the evolving world of Superior IT.

Marketing

Where will new growth come from? What is the next product launch to “wow” the marketplace? What does the customer truly want? How does our website engage and interact with the customer? The Superior marketing team understands the lifestyle choices of our customers, ensures the relevancy and branding of our portfolio offerings, helps with new product introductions and coordinates advertising and promotion.

Finance

If numbers are your game, then finance is probably where you need to be. However, being charged with ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all corporate financials is no easy task.

The Superior finance team analyzes our financial viability and provides guidance to all business units on budgetary items, product pricing, credit policy, capital expenditures and, of course, billing and payments.

The finance team also works closely with banking partners and external auditors to ensure that our financial systems and processes meet the highest standards and sustain our financial health so that we can meet and fund our growth initiatives.

Human Resources

The Superior HR team oversees our talent management systems, recruitment program, work culture initiatives, and training and development. Working closely with each Business Unit, this group ensures that the right people are in right place.
