Resume Tips
Get our attention
Tell us your history and what makes you who you are. Your resume should grab our attention for the right reasons, so keep it easy to read and give us relevant information. Send it to us as a PDF or Microsoft Word document.
Make it right
Take the time to make sure your contact information is correct and tell us how and when you prefer to be contacted, by phone or email, day or night. Send us only essential personal information so we can contact you.
Make it relevant
Position your most relevant achievements first. Sell us on why you have the talent we’re looking for, what are your greatest strengths and key accomplishments, and what level of accountability you had at your latest position. Tell us about any special projects and how they expanded your knowledge.
Market yourself
Take the time to tell us how you’ll complement our existing team. Sell your abilities and describe how you can make a difference in our company. Tell us what you’ve accomplished to date and what your goals are.
List your achievements
We believe in education, but we understand that knowledge can be learned in a variety of ways. Your resume should reflect academic achievements but also highlight any seminars and training from previous employment or self-directed learning. Be sure to list any degrees and certificates you’ve received during your career and whether or not they are still active.
Preferred location
Tell us if you are mobile or willing to relocate. Superior Cabinets operates in numerous locations. Though we might not have a current opportunity in your geographic region, your skills might be a match for another corporate location or may fit into our growth plans.
References
While personal references are always good, we’ll want to validate your abilities with past employers. Please include at least three professional references on your resume.
